Biography
Mauro Cozzani studied in his hometown, obtaining a classical high school diploma.
After graduating cum laude in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Milan (1984), he committed to orthodontics.
He continued training at Boston University under Prof. Anthony A. Gianelly, an experience that deeply influenced his clinical and methodological approach.
He enriched his education with a university diploma from the Université de Bourgogne (Dijon) and with further training in interceptive and surgical orthodontics in Italy, culminating in a specialization in Orthodontics at the University of Ferrara.

Returning to Liguria, from 1990 he practices in La Spezia as an exclusive orthodontics specialist.

Teaching Activities
Since 2005 he relaunched the clinical course center in La Spezia founded by his father, designing programs that integrate lectures, typodont exercises, and live patient clinical work, a “learning by doing” model that has trained generations of orthodontists.

Nel 2005 rilancia a La Spezia il centro corsi clinici avviato dal padre, progettando percorsi che integrano lezioni, esercitazioni su modelli e attività clinica su pazienti: un modello “learning by doing” che ha formato generazioni di ortodontisti.
